Street Food and Dhabas :) :)

Indian roads are so wonderful when it comes to food.... The best tastes, flavors and smells emanate from the roadside dishes.
If its the street..then there's the invincible flavor of chaat.. pani puri, pav bhaji, dahi papdi, aloo tiki..
If its 'the 8 times the size of streeways'- highways, then dhabas rule the roost.. Butter chicken and naan, dal makhani, fish curry...
Its all jut incomparable...and the best part (apart from the thoroughly satisfying gastronomic experience) is the price. Did you know that you can have a fish thali in 18rupees on the roads of karnataka?(just found that out today)
Downside for some might be the hygiene or lack of sophisticated ambience...but who cares! Its pure heaven once a bite goes into your mouth.

So basically, when you're roaming around aimlessly and hunger strikes, there's no dearth of food. It happened to me today only, I discovered momos right outside my college gate. The dimunitive man standing with his small portable table of freshly steamed momos proved to be a saviour for my hungry soul!
