I feel like I'm turning into a recluse. Its a word I've been using quite often these days, so I decided to look it up on the web. Wikipedia is the most obvious place to search.. god bless wiki!
Definition: A recluse is someone in isolation who hides away from the attention of the public, a person who lives in solitude, i.e. seclusion from intercourse with the world. The word is from the Latin recludere, which means "shut up" or "sequester".
You know, whats funny is that they've listed some famouse recluses! Here are a few:
Harper Lee, author of To Kill a Mockingbird.
Greta Garbo, actress, who famously said, "I want to be alone."
Rod Evans, original singer of rock band Deep Purple. He has not been seen publicly for more than 25 years
